Suzy Van Rooyen has been Chair of Trustees since 2022, having supported us in various ways for over 10 years. Suzy has a wealth of experience working with vulnerable women in the charity sector coupled with business acumen, which makes her the perfect fit for eve. Working closely with Christine, Suzy’s expertise and commitment helps to drive the strategic direction of our services and future plans.
Suzy is supported by Simon Whipp, Emma Fletcher, Karen Dhlamini, and Cristina Taboada-Naya, who provide finance, business, social enterprise and fundraising expertise, helping us to achieve our charitable aims. Christine Whipp is the Clerk to Trustees.
Christine Morgan, in her capacity as CEO, is responsible for the strategic and operational management of eve’s services. A dedicated leader, with over 30 years of experience in the voluntary sector supporting families and young people. Christine is passionate about personal and professional development, which she champions with service users and the eve team.
Sharon Ferdinand-Pemberton is our Head of Operations and has worked in the domestic abuse sector for over 23 years. Sharon manages:
- services for survivors of domestic abuse
- our refuge provision
- team management, support and development
Zelie Biswell is Head of Business and has worked with eve since 2023. Zelie manages all our Business Support functions, working with her team to deliver finance, administration and data collection and analysis.
April Ventour is Head of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion. She has a wealth of experience in this area, particularly in the women’s sector. April supports eve to provide a healthy culture for all our stakeholders, working alongside the Leadership team to support staff, volunteers and service users to overcome barriers to provision of effective services that meet needs.
