2015 – Launch of Therapy and Wellbeing services

Working with Occupational Therapy students on placement gave us great insight into the way that they worked and the tools that they used and how these fitted with our therapeutic programmes.  More research and more successful funding bids enabled us to develop the first Occupational Therapy role within a domestic abuse delivery service in the country.  The service has grown and developed over the years, providing counselling, coaching, therapeutic interventions and wellbeing activity programmes that support women and children to heal from the trauma of domestic abuse.
